Alcatraz Island

I was in San Francisco in 2015 and I could not leave without visiting this amazing prison on the Island of Alcatraz which closed its doors for the last time on March 21st 1963. it was a federal prison between 1934 and 1963, the islands facilities are now managed by the national park service.
